Since 1971 we’ve been known for our 100% wood fire grilled steaks, ribs, and Southern classics. We expanded in 2010 with a $2 million renovation that included two outdoor fire pits, an outdoor bar, large patio, themed seating areas, new large bar, business bar, and state of the art kitchen. Although steaks and ribs are our specialty, we offer a large and diverse, made from scratch menu. With a World Class Bar program consisting of 24 craft beers on draft, 24 wines by the glass, and a 10-page menu– we’re sure you’ll find something to please your taste buds. Our two-story restaurant has plenty of room for all your friends and we’re eager to accommodate groups of all sizes up to 130 people. You can even reserve the fire pit areas and theatre room for private events! Enjoy your meal in a glamorous theatre room, floating ferris wheel seat, elevator booth, jailhouse or snuggle up with S’mores for dessert by one of our outdoor fire pits. Located across from the Koury Convention Center and close by the Greensboro Coliseum.

went with a large group, 13 people. we got seated with a waiter that they seemed to be giving only larger groups to. He had a table of 8 already when we were seated. he was swamped. i went and told the manager he needed help we had already gone 10min without ordering drinks. they sent help to get the drinks out and take our order. it took over 50 min for our entrees to arrive, cold lasagna, warm baked potato and chicken. was a shame because the food was tasty. another group of 7 got seated after we ordered and got entrees 5 to 10 min before we did. poor management to give this many large groups to one waiter with little help. we had reservations so they knew we were coming and could have planned better. Not a pleasurable experience i wish to repeat.

Darryl's food was excellent. The thing that really set them apart though was the service. Our server, Nicole Westrick was so pleasant and is truly a professional at her job. We would come back simply for the amazing service. Do yourself a favor next time you come here and ask for her.

I would highly recommend this place. The service here is outstanding, Logan did a great job serving us today and the food was outstanding. I had the prime rib and my co-worker had the pub steak, they were both delicious. The place has a cool vibe as well.

This was our second time visiting since we were in Greensboro & not sure if we will make this a go to place when stopping through. Service both times was great, just the food was never cooked properly. Husband's prime rib was over cooked. My broccoli & rice was almost room temperature.. Guess my food was waiting on his prime rib. My salmon was a little more cooked than I expected. Sort of same experience last time. Food taste is not bad, just never seemed hot both times. Server Alishia(?) was very nice and apologized for food. Offered to have recooked, but we had waited a while and was hungry & had to get back on the road. Just decided to take off our go to list. Also the margarita flight was awful. Tasted like overly sweet juice.

Went in for lunch and loved it. The lunch portions definitely seemed. Would've been enough for dinner. But that was fine by me. Just some leftovers to look forward to eating in the future. The cracker appetizer things were also a must if you go. So simple but enjoyed them so much

We had a nice New Years Eve lunch at Darryls. I had the shrimp and grits, my wife had the french dip while my friend and his wife had a steak and cheese and a buffalo chicken sandwich. We all enjoyed our food. The service was good as well. Nice visit.

It was as good as I remembered from back in the day. GREAT atmosphere. I could not get over how genuinely kind the wait staff are not only to customers but to one another. It seems that it's an enjoyable place to work as well as eat. Keep it up!! Definitely try to sit in the jail, elevator, or County Fair ride car, if you can!

GREAT food!!! If the baked sweet potatoes were available all the time, it would be even better. The service is good and the atmosphere was fair. A little too dusty for me to be a place for dining and, the exterior needed some serious attention. To pull up and have to see garbage, litter, and debris where I have to park and walk, can absolutely ruin the appetite. The good food helps but I won't continue to weigh this issue.....

Okay so right off there was a major problem. We were seated but the server was unaware that we were in her section. She was busy preparing for a large party. She did apologize and took our drink order and then took our food order. Our food was out in a reasonable amount of time. However while the flavor was good, it was cold. My guess is that food is being prepared in advance then just sits around. Not sure we will be back. There needs to be oversight in the kitchen to make sure the food is up to par.

Great atmosphere and fast service. The potato soup was fantastic and the baked beans were very good too. First, I ordered their homemade Ginger Ale, but they were out. Then I ordered the Ribs & Ribs meal excited to find a restaurant that served beef ribs, but found out that they no longer have beef ribs, so I switched to 1/2 slab pork ribs. They had real good smokey flavor and fall off-the-bone tender but they were only lukewarm at best. Very Disappointed

Food wasn't bad, beer selection was nice. The inside is neatly decorated. I'd eat here again for sure. I had the smoked wings and I enjoyed them. Had a nice stout beer with my meal, waitress was pleasant. Wasn't crowded when I ate there, and the ambiance was that of 30's prohibition era meets medieval castle.

We love this place. The food is good and the staff is friendly. We visited from another state and our kids kept asking us to go only there each night for dinner!

Another great place to eat in the big metro area of Greensboro. This eatery just moves the needle a bit further down . Homemade crackers and Potato soup , no need to say anymore....

Absolutely fabulous, best everything prine rib to perfection, shrimp served perfectly, the chocolate chip pie with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream best I've ever had. The gentleman I think the owner or manager did an excellent job. Will definitely be back.

Had high Hope's for this place. Menu is huge, place smells great, everyone had a smile. Service was slow. Soup was served barely warm enough to soften shredded chees on top. "World famous" ho6made cracker should be replaced by a decent quality store bought saltine. Prime rib was very good though slightly over cooked. Both people at hostess stand we friendly & helpful.

I had the lunch portion of the baby back ribs. They were dried out and super little. They were more like Danish ribs. The mashed potatoes were good. Online it said it came with fries and coleslaw, but they said zi had to pay extra for the slaw. They need to correct the menu, and state that it's not baby back ribs its tiny Danish ribs and the slaw is extra.

Best sirloin I’ve had from an establishment! The Cajun seasoning used is the perfect blend of sweet, savory, and smoky. The baked potato was cooked to perfection with ample amounts of sour cream and butter. The bacon added to the loaded option was crisp, not overcooked. My server was attentive and fulfilled an uncommon request for an out of state visitor attending dinner with my group. I will make sure to stop in ANYTIME I am in Greensboro and will be recommending this to everyone I know coming through the area!

Great food, unique but nice atmosphere, decor, and amenities. Parts of the inside look like it used to be an old jail so there's some history there. Pretty cool to eat in an old western style jail cell. Food is great. I'd like to try more of the menu but I have a few favorites that are hard to stray from.

Great bar tender. Food was good nothing to rave about. I had half slab of pork ribs which were okay. I did like the baked beans. Wife had trio appetizer plate with s Mike's wings, buffalo wings and fries mushrooms. Tried a Stella Artois Midnight Lager for the first time and it was GOOD!

Long wait, at least on a Saturday, but the food and service were top notch. Wood fire grills are always better... if you're making plans, though, consider a reservation.

The atmosphere was very nice as they had an upstairs in chairs you can sit in that hang down over everyone. The food was okay, but it was not enough meat and it was fried but not a good enough portion to make it worth the price of the food. Besides that it was a nice atmosphere and the staff were friendly and it was pretty active on the inside, which was good. If they improve the quality of foods and little bit more portion size, it would have a five-star.
